Lorie Eber is a uniquely qualified Mayo Clinic Certified Wellness Coach who turned her lifelong devotion to healthy living into a vocation. She combines her personal experience with expertise in aging and a personal trainer certification.
Her first career was as a corporate litigator. After taking early retirement, she returned to college to study aging—gerontology. She’s an Instructor of Gerontology at the University of La Verne and Coastline Community College.
Lorie is the author of “Aging Beats The Alternative and a Sense of Humor Helps,” a blogger for Huffington Post 50, a columnist for the Orange County Register and Tustin News, as well as a nationally known keynote speaker.
As a NASM Certified Personal Trainer, Ms. Eber champions exercise, but understands that training is only one part of a healthy lifestyle. She believes that the holistic approach of wellness coaching, which addresses good nutrition, exercise and stress management, is the key to sustainable lifestyle change. That is why she was earned a special Wellness Coach Training Certification from the Mayo Clinic.
